  • Voices of America is a country music festival experience built from the stage up to capture the golden age of radio and celebrate American history.

    Further Concepts is a hospitality management company dedicated to creating unique and meaningful experiences for each and every guest. As they prepared to launch the Midwest’s largest country music festival, they approached the studio in search of the brand that would infuse a cluttered category with renewed substance.

    Leveraging West Chester, Ohio’s bicentennial in the development of a truly American celebration. VOACMF promises a classic country music experience with authentic opportunities to celebrate American history and culture.

    As we set out to build the brand identity for VOA, our goal was to capture the Golden Age of Radio and the raw electric feeling of live performance. We leveraged a rustic color palette with bold, vintage typography and photography that, when combined, conjure a uniquely American nostalgia that distinguishes itself from the sea of reds, whites, and blues. The studio extended this branding into engaging festival touchpoints, from web and social media to lanyard badges, swag, and festival maps.

LOGOS & LOCKUPS

Durham developed and design a suite of logos and lockups to be used across various types of applications across the festival’s footprint. Whether using guitars or state outlines, the full suite of icons and lockups work together to bring VOA’s standalone promise to life for country music’s biggest fans, while also celebrating the Ohio backdrop of the festival itself.
