New Year. New Site. Same Durham.

BY AUSTIN DUNBAR • 3 MINUTE READ

Welcome to the new Durham Site 5.0, 6.0… somewhere around there!

Every couple of years we get the feeling it’s time to dust the digital shelves off and start fresh. Anyone who knows anything about the creative industry and running a business inside of it, the last thing you have time for is usually the one thing that gets you work – your personal, professional, studio, agency, or otherwise website. We make a living making sure others are creatively cared for, usually neglecting our own needs when it comes to an up-to-date, outward appearance of what’s happening in and around the business. We decided at the end of last year, we needed to step back and reassess who we are, so we can move forward with who we want to be. That included a new positioning statement, being more explicit and communicative on what we do and whom we do it excellently for, going big with the creative and visuals to be as impactful on your large screens as well as the one in your hand, and then finally a new Disclose section that was born from our quarterly newsletter, ‘The Durham Disclosure’, will be our way of updating more frequently the who, what and why’s of the day-to-day at the studio – also known as, our blog. Durham is in the details and we wanted to make sure every place was designed with intentionality, intelligence, and inspiration for you, our viewer. And lastly, with all of the projects we completed last year, we needed a new look to house the variety of new clients, categories, and creative that’s been developed the past 365+ days that will be rolling out in the coming months once the projects go live.

“Durham is in the details and we wanted to make sure every place was designed with intentionality, intelligence, and inspiration for you, our viewer.”
