Business isn’t black and white. So we’re building a bank that is. Introducing the new stripes for 1000Zebras – an uncommon bank for the common good.
1000Zebras is a federal credit union for entrepreneurs.
Better serving small businesses as a replacement for the ‘system’ via their resources and cutting-edge technology, they began to build a new infrastructure for entrepreneurs. With a new infrastructure comes a new brand architecture.
Not only were they in search of a new way to tell their story, they were also looking for a great way to show it…
Everything from A-Z was designed by Durham including strategy, positioning, copy, tone-of-voice, identity, and a dazzling design system inspired by the (business) unicorns of the world.
IDENTIFYING TARGET AUDIENCE & DEVELOPING TONE OF VOICE
The Herd’s tone of voice varies from entry-experience to veteran-experience depending on which category of their target audience they’re communicating to. From the entry level ‘Plains’ members that represent solo entrepreneurs and small businesses to the ‘Mountain’ members of established leaders in entrepreneurship, 1000Zebras can exude community and support, as well as confidence and experience through it’s target tone.
